It’s festive season and things are getting real silly. Work is wrapping up for the year, Christmas parties are at an all-time high and a celebratory drink are clinking.

This also means that hangovers are almost inevitable. Luckily Bloom is here to cure your seediness and make it delicious too.

Introducing their take on a Bloody Mary – it’s the cocktail not for the faint hearted.

Bloom’s Bloody Mary has Smokey maria sauce, tomato and 23rd Street vodka. It’s a mix of spicy and salty with an overall savory flavour.

Bloom’s twist however is the garnish – a West End beer battered gherkin. It adds a juicy pickled flavour and a crispy oily touch to get over that hangover drowse.

It’s the perfect drink to get you back into the swing of things and keep kicking on. Bloody Marys are rumoured to cure hangovers and there’s a reason for it.

The mix with tomato provides electrolytes, sodium, potassium, and all the vitamins to get you feeling better sooner.

And with a delicious gherkin crunch to go along, you can’t go wrong.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Bloom, it opened late last year and has quickly become one of Adelaide’s best cafes.

Created by the team behind popular Hindley Street hotspot Peter Rabbit, Bloom is its cool sister cafe taking place in an old tram barn, giving it a light, airy and super laid back vibe that has been designed to perfection.

Bloom is known for their more upscale, seasonal menu with an interesting twist – every meal is created with an element that was cooked over fire.
