The Walkers Arms Christmas Market is kicking off this December 5, with the hotel set to transform into a festive wonderland and bring some of SA’s best producers to the Walkerville locale. Whether you’re searching to find a perfect gift for your special someone or looking for a fun festive day out, there’s something for everyone in the family this weekend.
From delicious smelling candles from Harrie & Rose Candles to bespoke jewellery makers and plants from Little Plant Project, an array of stallholders will be setting up shop, so you’ll be able to find a perfect present for your loved ones this weekend.
The boutique dog accessories brand Georgie Paws is also hosting a stall this Sunday – letting you gift your furry best friend a present to unwrap underneath the glittery tree this Christmas morning.
The market will also cater for your skincare needs, with Lo’eme Australia and Fossick and Frolic, showing off their 100% Natural Artisan products.
While there will be plenty of Christmas cheer (and shopping!) on Sunday afternoon, an array of SA distillers, brewers and winemakers will also be pouring fine wines, tipples of gin and more. Treat yourself to a crisp glass of Riot Wine Co Rosé or Sidewood Estate Sparkling and try Prohibition Liquor Co.’s new-release Christmas Gin, peppered with Yuletide spices and nutmeg. Elevate your gin game with Fruity Garnish Co, who will be selling their dehydrated fruit as well.
Likewise, for craft beer fans, Pirate Life Brewing will be serving up their latest release beers along with a selection of limited-edition merch.
And for those who aren’t counting down the days till Santa Claus slides down the chimney, the jolly man himself is expected to make an appearance at the markets. Whether you’ve been naughty or nice this year, we’re sure he’ll be spreading his extra special Christmas cheer to all market-goers.
