Dockside Festival CANCELLED

Unfortunately, due to the extreme weather forecast across the weekend, The City of Port Adelaide Enfield has made the difficult decision to CANCEL Dockside Festival 2023 which was planned for this Saturday and Sunday in Port Adelaide.

The safety of the community, participants, and staff is theur top priority, and after careful consideration, they’ve had to make this tough decision.

The severe weather forecast on land, and especially on water, poses too great a risk, and ensuring everyone’s safety is their utmost concern.

They appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Mayor Claire Boan says “We are so incredibly disappointed to have to cancel the two day Dockside Festival planned for this weekend in Port Adelaide. Unfortunately, there is extreme weather forecast across the entire weekend, so for the safety of everyone involved we’ve had to make this difficult decision.”

“The anticipation for this event was huge and we hope to bring something back in the future. For the latest information and announcements please visit www.docksidefestival.com.au

It is the venue they use for Vegan Palooza and a 22 min drive from the CBD.

To get to Tonsley Innovation District from the City the best option is to get the Flinders Train line which takes 20 minutes and stops at Tonsley Train Station, a short 5-minute walk away. Alternatively, the W90 bus from R1 – North Terrace takes 45 minutes and a 9-minute walk.

There is FREE parking around the area too.

Victor Harbor Christmas Pageant – CANCELLED

**Update** Sadly the 2023 Christmas Pageant has been cancelled due to an extreme weather forecast over the weekend. Rotary has decided not to reschedule the event due to the complex logistics involved, limited availability of volunteers required to ensure a safe and successful event, and conflicts that would arise due to other festive events taking place in the lead up to Christmas. We understand this is disappointing for the community and the decision has been made with a very heavy heart.
