If you’re looking for the party of all parties to welcome in 2024, then South Australia’s Wines & Good Times are hosting their biggest New Year’s shindig yet, held at 2KW.
After the huge success of Basement Jaxx & Roger Sanchez earlier this year, the Wines & Good Times crew are hosting their annual New Year’s Day party at 2KW from 3 pm til late, headlined by Melbourne-based DJ and house music guru DJ John Course.
Wines & Good Times co-directors, Souli Tsiolis (aka DJ Souli) and Colin Coleman (aka DJ Audioporn) are looking forward to bringing in the start of the New Year with this exclusive event, along with good vibes and great tunes.
‘We’ve been hosting New Year’s Day parties for 8 years—we’ve done 2KW before but it’s just been growing and growing every year’, says Souli. ‘We’ve got a good little DJ crew together, and this year, we’ve managed to convince DJ John Course to leave his regular Melbourne gig to come play some awesome house music tunes for us in Adelaide.’
Powerhouse DJ John Course has been at the forefront of Australia’s house music scene since its inception. With over a million compilations under his belt and numerous hit productions to his name, John is a recognised and celebrated figure in the industry, and his expansive career is a testament to his unyielding passion for dance music.
DJ John has held successful residencies at Melbourne’s club Electric and monthly at Poof Doof, and has been featured on Ministry of Sound, with over one million compilations sold in Australia featuring a mix from DJ John Course himself.
Supporting DJ John Course will be a combo of renowned names like Audio Porn, Souli, Sarez, Senor Sanchez, Trim, Ezee G, and Marc B., with percussion from Maverick.
With the tunes set and guaranteed to bring the good times, the party will also feature a stack of food trucks and a full bar, serving up drinks and cocktails all arvo and into the evening.
‘People can book a booth package and treat themselves for the day, complete with their own waiter and table service, so they can kick back and enjoy the party with their friends’, says Souli. ‘We always have a varied demographic at our events, so start your 2024 with a day full of dancing with 1000+ of your friends.’
