For one weekend, slow seasonal living, food, natural wine and live music will come together on Jauma’s doorstep for a joyful and enchanting Winter Reds celebration.
JaumaFest is taking over Jauma Farm in Lenswood across Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July, bringing wine, woodfire pizza, music, farm tours and fireside moments to the Adelaide Hills.
Jauma is a winery and cellar door that doesn’t just focus on promoting its wines. It brings a sense of community to the Adelaide Hills, with a deep connection to land, food and the people who gather around it.
So if you’re a curious drinker, a kindred spirit or an old friend of Jauma, keep reading, because this is for you.

All ingredients for Jauma wines are harvested from their organically farmed vineyards which grow grape vines, cherries, pears, apples and vegetables alongside natural wine, cider and vinegar.
Feeling peckish? Jauma’s bringing back Wild Woodfire Pizzas, the perfect remedy for battling the vicious Winter cold. They’re also an easy way to bring the family together, for no one can ever finish these enormous yet delicious pizzas alone.
To add a bit of excitement and zest for life, hit up the dance floor and support your fellow South Aussies performing original live music and DJing across the day and evening. You may find music you’ve never considered yourself to be into, or discover local artists you may not have heard before.

Feeling adventurous? Or are you eager to tuck yourself away in layers of blankets? No matter your mood, Jauma has numerous areas set up catering to different levels of comfort and warmth.
Settle into cosy nooks, communal tables or explore the outside’s glowing gardens, warm firepits and heated marquees.
For something more structured during the festive chaos, join James and Sophie Erskine as they take guests further into their world of wine, farming and seasonal living.
Led by James Erskine, explore the world of natural wine in an intimate guided tasting with Jauma wines along with like-minded preservative-free producers in the Adelaide Hills and beyond.
It will cover farming practices, wine-making approaches, and dive deeper into the stories behind each bottle – their makers, homes and philosophies that come with.
Looking for something slow and grounding? Join Sophie Erskine for a guided walking tour through Jauma Farm’s winter landscape. Learn about organic farming practices and Jauma’s seasonal patterns as you wander through quiet corners, misty vines and resting soils of the hillside.
“JaumaFest evolved from our wish of offering a nature immersion experience, building relationship to land and food source, and creating space for community inclusion and connection,” say Jauma’s owners, James and Sophie Erskine.
“We believe community resilience and collaboration is central to building a sustainable future.”
”It is our hope that JaumaFest offers space to connect people from far and wide in support of local arts, music, farmers and producers, held with deep respect for the traditional custodians of Peramangk Country, and their ongoing relationship to this land we gather on.”
If you believe in this too, join James and Sophie Erskine at Jauma Farm this Winter Reds, for woodfire pizza, organic wines, proud Aussie music and magical scenery.
