Adelaide is sparkling with many fabulous cocktail bars. It’s undeniable. But that doesn’t mean that we don’t appreciate it when our interstate neighbours head to our city to collaborate and create.
We have just heard that bartenders from one of Australia’s greatest cocktail bars will be stepping into Maybe Mae this Sunday, May 19.
Black Pearl, located in Fitzroy, Victoria, has won the prestigious Spirited Awards in New Orleans and is constantly voted in the Top 50 Best Bars in the World.
Black Pearl bartenders Shay Chamberlain and Matt Linklater will be bringing their award winning bar skills to Maybe Mae, mixing drinks all night long (or until the cocktails last).
Presented by Never Never Distilling co., all cocktails will feature the South Australian Gin and will include the famous Black Pearl Turbo Gimlet featuring Souther Strength, recently voted the Worlds Best Class Gin at the World Gin Awards.
The Black Pearl team will be behind the bar from 6pm but it is advised to that come by early. This will not be a ticketed event, so it will be first come, first serve.
