It’s notoriously hard to find somewhere that’s open on a Monday night in Adelaide with most of the hospo industry taking a much needed day of rest after a busy weekend. There are however, quite a few places that are open so we’ve taken the liberty of finding them so you don’t have to!
So, if you’re feeling the Monday blues and just can’t force yourself to go home after work and cook a meal, here’s where to go in the city, hills, beachside and in the suburbs.

Union Hotel
In the knack for some pizza? Union Hotel have you sorted! For just $12 you can grab a 9′ pizza or if you’re a little thirsty, you can grab a pint of beer coming to a nice round total of $20. Can’t argue with that. The Union Hotel will also have their full menu available if you’re after something different than pizza.

Coal Cellar + Grill at the Hilton Adelaide
Coal Cellar + Grill, Hilton Adelaide’s signature restaurant, is at the height of dining sophistication in the heart of the city. Market and Meander
This restaurant sits below Hotel Indigo but is open to all, not just guests of the hotel. With a Head Chef hailing from the north of Italy, you can be assured the fresh, modern Italian menu is as good as it gets and almost 90% of the produce is sourced right here in SA. Make sure you try the Blue Swimmer Crab tagliatelle and white chocolate gin tiramisu!

Walk into Osteria Oggi and see the cobblestoned floor, arches, arbour, meat room, private cellar, intimate booth seating, and a mezzanine-level kitchen. Press* Food and Wine
The Press* menu, created by executive chef Andrew Davies, reflects the changing seasons and incredible produce available to us in South Australia. Their custom char-grill is an integral part of the kitchen & is reflected in our menu. They only use local produce and pretty much everything is done ‘in house’ for your benefit.
Press* are taking reservations for dinner Monday, and all reservations smaller than 7 guests prior to 7:30pm are subject to a 2 hour dining duration.

Shōbōsho
At Shōbōsho they blend smoke, steam, and fire; ancient traditions of Japanese yakitori, with the finesse, skill & texture of all that is raw, cured, pickled and fermented. From a specially-commissioned cooking line consisting of a wood oven, hydraulic grill, rotisserie and customised yakitori pit, the element of fire will speak through simply seasoned, seared meats and vegetables. The menu takes a journey through raw to cooked, with yakitori, noodles, dumplings, bao, robata grilled and spit roasted meats.

Oyster Bar Holdfast Shores
Perhaps a more niche option but for those who love oysters then Oyster Bar Holdfast Shores is the place to be. Sourcing all of their oysters from Coffin Bay, absolutely fresh and served in a variety of recipes. Don’t worry though, if you’re not too big a fan, they also offer a load of other seafood dishes so everyone can appreciate dinner by the Marina.

Situated in one of the best beach front locations in all of Adelaide, Seamore’s is a celebration of laid back beach culture.
