It’s a common complaint during Fringe, that whilst the city is lively and our eyes are entertained, our pockets tend to be on the emptier side.
That’s why being on the lookout for deals is imperative and we’ve spotted your next go to.
With Charlick’s, one of the East End’s newer locations, situated right next to the Stag and run by the NOLA crew, quality is not sacrificed for the sake of value. Especially with the introduction of their Fringe Aperitivo Evenings.
From 4-6 pm through Thursdays – Saturdays (perfect before shows), you can enjoy a mediterranean twist on the traditional Aussie ‘happy hour’ where nibbles are added to the great value lineup of drinks at the Vardon Avenue restaurant.

Their front of house team, led by Jake Booker will be shaking unique cocktails such as the ‘Quandong Sour’ paired with bite sized treats curated by their Head Chef Blake Drinkwater.
You can grab 78 degree’s gin for $7, Mismatch Lagers for $5 and Aperitivo cocktails for only $10. Chef’s nibbles are only $3.
It’s a quick stroll to the garden, so if you’re heading to a show tonight then pop in for a treat. Trust us, the East End is a gorgeous spot to be this time of the year.
