A Beachside Spring Wine Dinner With Pikes Wines Is Coming To Glenelg

Admire ocean views while you dine on an exclusive four course menu and a variety of fine wine from Pikes Wines this November.

Celebrate the wine delights of Clare Valley whilst sitting beachside in Glenelg at the Spring Wine Dinner with Pikes Wines.

The spectacular views of Glenelg beach is reason enough to dine in The Promenade Restaurant at Stamford Grand Hotel, but on Friday 29 November you can feast on the very best of South Australian food and wine in an intimate four course dinner paired with wines from family owned winery, Pikes Wines.

This is the third wine dinner the hotel has hosted, previously collaborating with Hentley Farm Wines and The Lane Wines.

From 6.30pm-10pm, guests will dine on an exclusive four course menu created by Executive Chef, Darren Greenwood, including delights such as house smoked snook with beetroot risotto, roasted beef cube roll, and pecan chocolate brownie for dessert. Yum.

Previously a chef at some of China’s top hotels for over 10 years, Darren began his cuisine journey at Stamford Grand three years ago and his passion for South Aussie produce can be tasted throughout every dish.

The four course menu will feature expertly matched wine pairings from Pikes Wines with Jamie Pike, Sales & Marketing Manager, and 3rd generation owner, discussing the family owned brand ethos, their wine making process and how different varietals are paired with food.
