Adelaide Casino Cruise In To Support Local SA Talent

The Adelaide Casino has launched POP, introduced us to Sean’s Kitchen and Madame Hanoi, but now they want to take us on a cruise…

With the recent opening of the new Champagne bar POP and the popularity for the restaurants Sean’s Kitchen and Madame Hanoi only growing, the Adelaide Casino really has taken its place at the forefront of premium entertainment venues around town.

With that being said, the Adelaide Casino will be adding to all the excitement with announcement of a special event for the month of September that will look to support Adelaide bands and comedy whilst showing some much loved films.

Marketing Manager Jakki Temple Govan said that one of Adelaide Casino’s key focuses is to return as the home of South Australian entertainment.

“South Australia has such a wealth of entertaining talent and we want to feature as much as possible,” Ms Temple Govan said.

So, the Casino will be transformed into an action-packed cruise ship, with daily entertainment including live Adelaide bands, comedy, film screenings, and weekly parties. To make the deal even sweeter, the events are all free!

Oasis, the Casino’s outdoor bar, will be the home of free cruise-inspired film screenings. Held daily at 10:30am on the Oasis big screen, guests will be able to view well-known films including Titanic, Lifeboat, Anything Goes, An Affair to Remember, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and Monkey Business.

We will also see some amazing comedy, with the bar being turned into Adelaide’s biggest comedy venue. Expect to see some of South Australia’s best comedians including Eddie Bannon, Mike Klimczak and Steven Copley.

As if that wasn’t enough, Friday and Saturday will be party night in Oasis as it hosts Adelaide’s favourite party bands, Lucky 7, The Flaming Sambucas, The Lincolns and La Descarga, to keep guests dancing until 1:30am.

But hold on to your hats because there is more! Each day during the month of September Adelaide Casino will also give away cruises to a number of holiday locations across Australia, including the Loyalty Islands and the Great Barrier Reef.

“A cruise ship has always been known for having an extensive entertainment schedule and we thought this would be the perfect opportunity to not only feature South Australia’s leading talent but also give away cruises to some of Australia’s best holiday destinations,” says Jakki.

The ‘30 Cruises in 30 Days’ promotion runs from September 1 – September 30, with other activities occurring throughout the casino including High Seas Bingo, Learn to Play Blackjack classes, travel information sessions, roving entertainment, and regular parties including a Great Gatsby party.
