Get all your best mates together, pack your picnic blankets and come join the party because an open-air cinema is headed to Mollydooker wines this February.
Beloved winery Mollydooker is taking the big screen outdoors, screening an Aussie classic.
The return of the popular, Movie @ Molly’s program will kick off on Saturday, February 12, with the twilight screening of the Australian classic, Strictly Ballroom.
Kicking off from 6 pm at the beautiful surrounds of the Mollydooker Cellar Door, guests can pick from an array of food trucks and will be able to enjoy their favourite Mollydooker wines poured straight from their brand-new outdoor wine bar, the MollyVan.
Having free range of their luscious lawns, guests are encouraged to bring along their own deck chairs or picnic blankets, settle into a spot under the gum trees and watch the sunset of the vineyards of McLaren Vale, with the Movie beginning shortly after Dusk.
Sarah Marquis, Mollydooker CEO and Winemaker say the event is great for families.
“Historically Movie @ Molly’s has not only been a fun event, but also a great family event,” said Sarah.
“We love to see our friends, family and guests settle into the movie with a bottle of our wine.
“Pair that with a great sunset and it creates a truly magical atmosphere!”
Sarah continued by saying the outdoor event is covid-safe.
“We also hope that guests will feel more comfortable attending this open-air event amidst growing covid anxiety, continued Sarah.
“It’s a great chance to get back out into the community and have some fun.”
Guests can expect delicious food provided by Gang Gang and Nugg Lyf as well as the full range of Mollydooker wines.
Mollydooker Wines Cellar Door is open seven days for tastings. As always, bookings are essential.
