Yum cha lovers in Adelaide have likely wondered about the closed doors of the much loved Citi Zen restaurant – a long-time favourite for authentic Cantonese food and hangover-busting yum cha. But those pining for their peking duck fix will be thrilled to hear that a re-opening date for Citi Zen has been announced.
After lengthy structural repairs on the historic Brecknock Hotel, which includes the highly rated Citi Zen restaurant, the owner Kim, has shared via the Brecknock Hotel Facebook page that Citizen restaurant is set to re-open on 5th May with the pub to follow shortly after.
Citi Zen has been serving authentic Cantonese food since 2002 and if its cult following and rave reviews are anything to go by, there will be a sigh of relief from all the dumpling lovers around Adelaide.
