Comedy superstar Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias is returning to Adelaide this December, bringing his new Australian arena tour to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
The American comedian will perform The 1976 Tour: A Fluffy Celebration at the Entertainment Centre Arena on Sunday 6 December at 7pm.
Named after the year Iglesias was born, the new show will celebrate his 50th birthday year while looking back at the stories, experiences and defining moments that helped shape his career.
Adelaide audiences can expect the comedian’s signature combination of storytelling, colourful characters, parodies and sound effects, mixed with personal reflections from almost three decades on stage.
The upcoming performance will mark Iglesias’ return to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre after previously appearing at the Hindmarsh venue in December 2023.
Iglesias has grown from performing in small clubs and biker bars in the late 1990s to becoming one of the highest-grossing touring comedians in the world.
Known affectionately as “Fluffy”, he has attracted more than 2.4 billion YouTube views and built a combined social media following of more than 34 million people.
His live career has included sold-out performances at venues such as Madison Square Garden and Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena.
In 2022, Iglesias also became the first comedian to perform at and sell out Dodger Stadium, recording his Stadium Fluffy Netflix special in front of approximately 55,000 fans.
His latest special, Gabriel Iglesias: Legend of Fluffy, premiered globally on Netflix in January 2025 and entered the streaming platform’s Global Top 10.
Outside stand-up, Iglesias starred in and executive produced three seasons of the Netflix comedy series Mr. Iglesias. His screen credits also include Magic Mike, Magic Mike XXL, Shifting Gears and The Santa Clauses.
He has also voiced characters in animated films including Coco, Ferdinand, UglyDolls and Space Jam: A New Legacy.
The Australian tour will begin in Sydney on Saturday 5 December before travelling to Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane, with the final show taking place at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Saturday 12 December.
