Crowd Favourite Abbots & Kinney Opens Pop-Up CBD Store

Boutique pastry lovers rejoice. Abbot’s and Kinney fans have a newish pop up on King William Street servicing office workers and uni students who can’t get down to their Pirie Street store.
There are plenty of their usual brekkie, brunch and lunch options, with catering through the pop up.
If you haven’t been to Abbots & Kinney before, you should know that these guys really take toasties to another level – think a danish-liked filled sandy with four cheeses and leek. The aptly named Barry Croquer is down right delectable with creamy gruyere, bechamel, leg ham and cornichons. For health nuts we recommend the mini granola with yoghurt and poached fruit.
You’ll find Abbot & Kinney’s classic danishes, sweet pastries and croissants. Cafe attendant Kassandra recommended the Raspbetty Raspberry croissant-cum-muffin (cruffin).
We tried a lovely mocha pastry which had a perfect crumble and flavour and a nice comforting nice caffeine hit.
Kass tells us that she’s been pumping some sweet old school jams in the morning to get office workers in the groove as they order their morning coffee and a pastry, so if you need some positive early morning vibes and some quality foodstuffs, it’s worth getting off that bus early and stopping in before work!
The Abbot’s & Kinney Pop Up is located at 1 King William Street, Adelaide CBD.
