If you’re looking for the perfect way to embrace Adelaide’s chilly winter evenings, A Winter’s Night at Tonsley is back tonight, bringing fire pits, live entertainment and some of the city’s favourite food vendors to the Tonsley Village Green.
Following the huge success of its inaugural event last year, which attracted more than 2,000 visitors, the City of Marion is once again transforming the Village Green into a cosy community gathering space for a free evening of winter festivities.
Running from 5pm to 9pm on Friday, July 3rd, the event promises something for all ages, with live performances from local favourites The Cast, spectacular fire twirling displays, a silent disco and plenty of delicious eats.
Foodies can expect a lineup featuring Adelaide Woodfired Pizza, Paella Bar, Gang Gang, Kombi Crew, Sookii La La, Friwi Crepes, and Norm’s Soft Serve and Hot Donuts, making sure there’s everything from woodfired pizza and paella to sweet treats for dessert.
Visitors are encouraged to rug up, bring along a picnic rug or camping chair, and settle in beside the fire pits while enjoying the relaxed winter atmosphere under the stars.
The event also offers the perfect opportunity for those yet to discover the Tonsley Village Green to experience the growing community space, while welcoming back the thousands of locals who helped make last year’s event such a standout.
