Leading into the next five years CRM giant, ‘Salesforce’ and it’s ecosystem of partners will look to secure over 100 technology-focussed jobs in SA.

Global leader in CRM, Salesforce commit to a collaboration with the state government to reach a goal of zero net emissions in South Australia. Prompting a transition of innovation, Salesforce is committed in utilising their Net Zero Cloud to help organisations track, analyse and report reliable environmental data.

Net Zero Cloud works in transforming data from a complex process of carbon accounting that usually can take months into a matter of weeks.

“South Australia has a great sustainability track record, and we look forward to working with the South Australian Government to set a new benchmark in public accountability reporting for carbon emissions,” said Salesforce CVP and GM, Public Sector, Barry Dietrich.

Salesforce will combine artificial intelligence technology piloted by the Australian Institute for Machine Learning (AIML) and Green Industries SA (GISA) to deliver sophisticated tools and data sources required by companies to reduce their carbon emissions.

With Salesforce technology staff to be located at precinct Lot Fourteen, which is accelerating innovation, entrepreneurship, research, education, culture and tourism across the state. This agreement will be the first of its kind globally for Salesforce Net Zero Cloud.

With this multinational company settling on calling South Australia home, Premier Steven Marshall stated this example of creating job opportunity cements our state as a national leader in sustainability.

“South Australia has the fastest growing economy in the country, the lowest unemployment rate in our history and is now a beacon in attracting global hi-tech companies to Adelaide, with the likes of Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Accenture committing to operating in South Australia”, said Premier Steven Marshall.
