If you’re anything like me, you’ll agree there’s no better time than winter to head out for a delicious dinner with your loved ones. Whether it’s a dinner with the girls, a date night, or an overdue catch-up, discovering new restaurants or rediscovering old favourites is the perfect winter activity. Luckily, SkyCity Adelaide totally agrees, and they’ve upped their game with two limited-time-only dining experiences designed to warm up even the coldest of nights through bold flavour, shared dining and a touch of theatre.

If spicy Southeast Asian-inspired comfort food is calling your name, then Madame Hanoi’s Hanoi Heat is bringing the warmth Tuesday to Saturday. From July 1st to August 6th, the fresh offering leans into aromatic broths, slow-cooked meats and bright spices. Designed for sharing, the experience starts from $99 for two and features generous, flavour-packed mains including Soy and Vinegar Braised Chicken, Red Curry Beef Cheek, and the Chef’s Special Spiced Seafood. Each set is rounded out with steamed rice, salad and a dessert of the day.
Madame Hanoi Head Chef Jimmy Figueroa said, “Winter dishes should bring warmth to the table and people together around it. Hanoi Heat is built around generous serves, vibrant flavours, and that balance of heat and comfort that suits the season.”

Over at The Kitchen, they’re taking winter indulgence even further with Fire & Feast, a limited-season dining experience running from July 1st to August 21st, where fire sits at the centre of every dish.
Designed as an immersive, premium offering, the experience brings together flame-grilled meats, seafood and elevated seasonal produce in a shared dining format. Highlights include giant octopus with bone marrow and spiced yoghurt, lion’s mane mushroom with pumpkin purée, and premium Australian beef cooked over fire.
For those looking to go all in, signature items include beef tomahawk, braised MB9+ Mayura Station “Thor’s Hammer” beef shank, and a chargrilled seafood tasting tower.

The Kitchen Head Chef Raj Kumar said, “Fire & Feast is about slowing down and savouring the full experience, with exceptional food and time well spent together. It’s a concept that feels perfectly aligned to winter — warm, generous and designed to linger over.”
The experience is paired with a drinks list showcasing South Australian producers, including whisky and butterscotch cocktails, house-made mulled wine and rich hot chocolates, with the option of warming liqueur additions for extra winter comfort.
Timed perfectly alongside Illuminate Adelaide, Hanoi Heat, and Fire & Feast offer two distinct ways to embrace the season. And with one rooted in spice, warmth and Southeast Asian comfort, the other in flame, indulgence and theatrical dining, there really is no better time to get the crew together and enjoy a perfect winter feast.
