If Adelaide Was A Playlist, This Is Apparently What It Would Sound Like

YouTube Music has released a range of Neighbourhood Sounds playlists, including one dedicated to Adelaide.

What do you think Adelaide sounds like? The sound of wine cap twisting? Or the waves hitting the jetty at Glenelg? Or perhaps the buzz of baskets and customers and grocers melded together at the Central Markets?

YouTube Music has released a range of Neighbourhood Sounds playlists, including one dedicated to Adelaide.

Amber Cronin and Erin Fowler, co-founders of creative hub The Mill, were put in charge of our playlist.

Together they’ve put together a a mix of songs they say is perfect for a lazy weekend in the South Australian sun.

It kicks off with a song by American artist Sufjan Stevens, but then you’ll find plenty of local talent, with songs from Timberwolf, Ollie English, Tom West, Surahn, Wolfjay, Neon Tetra, Lonelyspeck, Naomi Keyte, PINES, Wanderers, The Transatlantics, Todd Sibbin and more.

You can have a listen to the full playlist here.
