Adelaide, it’s time to break out your running shoes, because this August one of the city’s coolest bakeries is hosting its first-ever run club.
Serving Adelaide fresh, handmade breads, pastries and cakes for more than 30 years, Jenny’s Bakery is a trusted favourite across all three of its locations in Keswick, Norwood and Eastwood. If you’ve found yourself strolling down the Parade on a Saturday morning or walking past the iconic Eastwood bakery, you’re sure to be familiar with Jenny’s and their delicious viral treats.
From loaded croissants and cinnamon scrolls to chunky cookies, matcha lattes and dot cakes, Jenny’s is always at the forefront of creativity, delivering fun flavours that push the boundaries. Now, they’re thinking outside the box in a whole new way, switching gears from sweet treats and baked goods by teaming up with a stacked lineup of local suppliers, giving the community a new reason to get up early and get outside on the weekend.
On Saturday, August 15th, the inaugural Jenny’s Run Club will kick off at 8am after a 7:30am arrival, from Jenny’s Bakery Keswick. There are two different routes to choose from, either a 5km run or a 3km walk loop hosted by the team from Strong Keswick, both finishing back at the bakery.
Then the real party will start with a DJ setting the vibe, an LSKD pop-up with special on-the-day discounts, free coffee and matcha from St Ali, a free hydration station from Sodii Hydration, free Jenny’s Bakery cookies, and plenty of prizes up for grabs.
Before the big day, you can get your hands on a limited-edition Jenny’s Run Club T-shirt in store at Jenny’s. It’s the perfect way to show your support and arrive ready for the bakery’s very first community run.
