Kitty Flanagan to entertain AIM SA and Adelaide business leaders

Kitty Flanagan, one of Australia’s most popular and funniest stand up comics, will visit Adelaide in December to give hard-working Adelaide professionals a well-earned laugh.

Kitty will be the special guest at the Australian Institute of Management’s (AIM SA) Women In Management annual Christmas lunch on Friday 2 December 2011.

She promises to give guests a hilarious insight into “The Year That Was”, helping businesswomen (and men!) across South Australia reflect and find the humour in the good, the bad and the ugly of 2011.

A regular on The 7pm Project, Kitty will present a fast-paced performance of cracking stories, skilful characteristics and hard laughs.

Renowned on the international stand up comedy circuit for her sharp, effortless wit, Kitty has won a string of awards for her comedy and has written for film and television, including the BBC and for Channel Four.

AIM SA chief executive officer John Stokes says the annual Women in Management Christmas lunch always draws a strong crowd.

“This year is set to be no exception and after the business challenges of 2011, we all deserve a good laugh and to reflect on lessons learned, be they serious or not so serious,” Mr Stokes said.
