Long Live Tradition: Celebrate Adelaide Cup At The Highway

If you’re going to Adelaide Cup, you know you’re going to The Highway.

It’s basically a local tradition to go to The Highway before and after the Adelaide Cup on Monday March 13th – especially if you’re heading to Morphettville Racecourse. It’s actually quite a spectacular scene just watching the sea of racegoers migrate to the pub. So if you’re one of those people wandering where to grab a drink before the races, looking for a bite to eat or ready to kick on at an after party, we’ve got the low down on what’s happening Monday.

ADELAIDE CUP LUNCH

This is a very casual affair on the Deck. You can book in for as many or as few as you would like and pick a seating time throughout the day that suits your posse. The $40 per person package includes a drink on arrival followed by a three course lunch (shared entrée, main and dessert). The races will be telecast live on their Super Screen and for those who like a sneaky wager – TAB will be available.

ADELAIDE CUP AFTER PARTY

Behold the motherload of all after parties. The Highway’s Function Room transforms into a lively hub buzzing with energy. This year, DJ Ryley from Fresh 92.7 will be spinning the tunes to keep the party going well into the night. If you register online, you’ll even receive a free drink on arrival. The only catch is that you have to register on their website beforehand.

Follow The Highway on Facebook for more info or head to their website to register for your free drink.
