Madame Hanoi, the acclaimed French-Vietnamese restaurant at SkyCity Adelaide, has announced the return of its Saturday lunch with an exclusive hawker-style dining experience known as Madame Hawker. Available only on Saturdays from 12 to 2pm, this delicious dining experience starts at only $55 per person for a set menu, featuring a diverse selection of five tasty dishes.
The set menu is also complemented by steamed rice, green mango salad and a special take on prawn crackers. For those with a larger appetite, additional dishes can be added for an affordable $11 each.
For anyone looking to indulge, there is an optional upgrade available. At $89 per person, the Bottomless Beverage Package enhances the dining experience with unlimited access to gin ice tea, Great Northern lager, and bubbles for two hours.
Sean Thomas, the head chef at Madame Hanoi, tells us that “food comes out fast and there’s heaps of variety on offer.”
“We’ve always got new dishes planned, so make sure you come in and try them before they change!” he said.
Chef Thomas also expressed a particular fondness for a revamped classic on the menu. “I’ve fallen in love with our version of Prawn Toast, a classic at any yum cha venue and a must-have for the seafood lover. We’ve elevated this humble sphere with cold smoked salmon roe, spring onion, and ginger prawn mousse.”
Apart from the staples, Madame Hawker also presents new dishes exclusive to the venue, which are subject to change regularly. Current creative offerings include the Beef Rib Tacos — composed of sticky short ribs and pickled fennel in gyoza skin ‘shells’, topped with creamy mayonnaise.
