Massive Wine Street Party Headed For Peel Street

The variety of vino on offer from around our fine state ensures there are always new, shiny, precious (and delicious) gems to uncover, and if there’s one thing that we at Glam Adelaide love, it’s to uncover them.

There are 18 distinctly different wine regions in South Australia, all with something unique to share. The variety of vino on offer from around our fine state ensures there are always new, shiny, precious (and delicious) gems to uncover, and if there’s one thing that we at Glam Adelaide love, it’s to uncover them.

The recently closed-to-traffic Peel Street will sparkle from 4.30pm to 7.30pm on Friday 13 October for Hidden Gems an event that sees 13 wineries from Kangaroo Island, the Riverland, Mt Benson and Robe coming together in the one place.

919 Wines, Bassham Wines, Cape Jaffa Wines, Dudley Wines, False Cape Wines, Hazyblur, Kangaroo Island Trading Company, Karatta Wines, Kingston Estate Wines, Snowdragon Wines, The Stoke Wines, Wangolina and Whistling Kite Wines are all excited to make the journey from their regions to the Adelaide CBD. The only thing they need is for you to help polish-off some of the multi-faceted treasures they’ll have on offer.

As the weather warms up, Peel Street is the perfect place for some post-work wines on a Friday night in spring. As a DJ spins some tunes, simply sip-back and enjoy the atmosphere.

To gain entry download the 365 Days of Wine and Food app and purchase a souvenir wine glass for $5. Then all that’s left to do is to make the hard choice about what to try from the wineries selling their wares. Wines are for sale by the half glass and the glass, but event-goers may also like to buy by the bottle to take home or out to Friday night dinner.

This pop-up wine event is the first of several laneways events coming up in the warmer months. Langhorne Creek on Leigh hosted by the Langhorne Creek Wine Region is to be held on Friday October 27th and keep your eyes peeled for more two more pop-ups in November.

This event will have no free wine tastings. All wine will be sold by the half glass or the glass. All bottle sales at the event will be packaged and are take-away only.
