Max & Ali lead campaign to fulfil brave Sammy’s dream of becoming a Police Officer

Join Mix 102.3 Max & Ali at the Gawler Place canopy today for heartwarming rescue campaign for 8-year-old Adelaide boy, Sammy.

Max and Ali from Mix102.3 are spearheading a rescue campaign for 8-year-old Adelaide boy, Sammy, who is battling an inoperable brain tumor.

Despite the doctors’ prognosis of limited time left, Sammy’s dream of becoming a police officer remains unfulfilled. Moved by his story, Max and Ali are determined to grant him his final wish – a day in the life of a police officer.

Despite Sammy’s declining mobility, Max and Ali, along with the support of Adelaide, are rallying to make his dream come true. From 12pm today, May 14th, three celebrity “criminals” will be let loose in Rundle Mall, and Sammy will be tasked with apprehending them.

With the assistance of a trained police dog, Sammy will aim to track down and apprehend Reilly O’Brien (Adelaide Crows), Alex Carey (Australian Men’s Cricket Team), and Guy Sebastian.

Premier Peter Malinauskas, touched by Sammy’s story, has declared a public holiday hour to allow all South Australians to show their support for Sammy.

Everyone is encouraged to join at the Gawler Place Canopy from 12:30pm to 1:30pm to support Sammy in his brave quest!
