Prohibition Liquor Co prove gin and cheese are the perfect combo in new masterclass this weekend

Teaming up with Woodside Cheese Wrights, learn the secrets to the perfect flavour combinations to impress at your next platter party.

For years, cheese and wine have always been the perfect match. It would be hard, almost impossible, to have one without the other. But a new drop is looking to break up the beloved pair and take cheese to whole a new level.

Prohibition Liquor Co, purveyors of fine, South Australian Gin have realised that, while yes wine and cheese are a delightful match, gin and cheese are a step above. Two of life’s greatest pleasures, that when enjoyed together, will turn any frown upside down.

To honour this, the team at Prohibition have joined forces with Woodside Cheese Wrights for a gin and cheese masterclass so you can see first-hand just how well the two complement each other.

Over a two-hour period, you’ll get insider knowledge on how the flavours of both gin and cheese enhance each other and the process behind creating them as you make your way through a range of fresh and matured cheeses and accompanied by a perfectly matched gin from the ever-growing Prohibition range.

Established in 1994, Woodside Cheese Wrights is known for its award-winning cow, goat and buffalo milk cheeses, all made by hand by passionate cheese makers, Kris and Mitch Lloyd. Infused with fresh, native ingredients, Kris and Mitch have pioneered a range of unique cheeses that have earned a right on everyone’s cheeseboard, including those at Prohibition.

Taking part in this one-off event gives you the opportunity to not only sample some of the state’s finest wares, but also gain some valuable knowledge that is sure to impress at your next platter party.
