If you’ve walked through Rundle Mall in the last five years chances are you’ve seen the guys from Creperie & Co slinging delicious crepes out of their cart.
They’ve been a permanent fixture in Rundle Mall for five years and now after a long time looking for the perfect place they have found it on the bustling Prospect road.
If you loved the Rundle Mall cart then don’t worry as they will still be there to serve you up your city crepe fix.
Owner and chef Laz Karisik says he can’t wait to open the new phase of their business after a lot of searching.
“We’ve been looking for the right place for some time now and we hadn’t really wanted to be far out of the city and then this little gem popped up and we applied for this place and got it, so we’re very stoked about that.”
The new venue will be in the commercial lease part of the Prospect Town Hall so right in the heart of the suburb.
It will have indoor and outdoor seating as well as a liquor licence and they will be open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and even late for dessert with not just crepes being on offer.
“We’re doing something that we’re calling a European style puffed donut, we haven’t done that before so we’re super excited about that.”
There will be classic crepe flavours such as Nutella on offer just like at their carts but the new venue allows them to get creative with toppings such as salted caramel and quality ice cream.
The opening date is not set in stone yet but all things going to plan they are hoping to be open by March.
