New figures released by The Lott show postcode 5061, covering Unley, sold more division one winning entries through physical outlets than any other postcode in South Australia during the 2025–26 financial year.
Both winning entries were sold by Semprinis of Unley, which delivered $1 million prizes in consecutive Weekday Windfall draws.
While the data does not reveal where the winners lived, it places Unley at the top of the state’s list of postcodes where division one tickets were purchased from lottery outlets.
South Australia recorded 31 division one wins across all lottery games between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026, delivering more than $73.5 million in prize money and creating 21 millionaires.
The state’s two biggest individual prizes were both worth $20 million.
One was an online Oz Lotto entry purchased for the July 1, 2025 draw, while the other was a Powerball ticket sold at Colonnades Lotto Kiosk in Noarlunga Centre for the Christmas Day draw.
Northern Adelaide recorded the most division one wins within the state, with nine winning entries collecting a combined $11.89 million.
Eastern Adelaide followed with five wins worth almost $8 million, while Southern Adelaide recorded four wins worth close to $23 million, largely due to the $20 million Noarlunga Centre prize.
Western Adelaide and the Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island regions each recorded two division one wins. Two winning entries were also recorded across Yorke and the Mid North.
South Australia placed fifth nationally for the number of division one winners, behind Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.
The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said the results showed major prizes were not limited to metropolitan areas, with winners also emerging across regional and remote communities.
“Lottery luck can land just about anywhere,” he said.
