From the Fleurieu Peninsula to the Barossa Valley, spirits are high for a terrific SA Distillery Trail!

Distilleries across the state have united to create an experience for the senses and showcase their variety of SA-made liquors.

Gather some friends and make a day off it; there are 29 venues on the Trail. You can start your journey at 36 Short in Virginia, pass through the stunning Ambleside Distillers in Hahndorf and top off the day at Two Accent’s Gin in McLaren Vale. Following the trail will give you exclusive discounts to a range of vodka, gin, rum and whiskey.

For those wanting to stick to the city, the trail has four distilleries on offer. Start in the inner city at Prohibition Liquor on Gilbert Street and head outwards to the Happenstance Distillery and Imperial Measures Distilling in Thebarton.

Earlier this month, Prohibition Liquor was awarded World’s Best Contemporary Classic Premixed Cocktail for their Australian Negroni at the World Premixed Awards in London. Who wouldn’t want to taste some award-winning gin? While there, experience their new range of G&T cans, premixed Gin Martinis and New Fashioned.

Before leaving the city, don’t forget to zip past Red Hen Gin on Wakefield Street and relish in their selection of fresh citrus derived gins.
