As a self-proclaimed foodie state, South Australians know good food. And where to find it. So what we’re about to share with you is pretty much your new bucket list for where to eat in 2018. The coveted Financial Review “Australia’s Top 100 Restaurants” Awards is happening and their 500 finalists have been announced.

Nominated by industry experts, the Financial Review’s national panel of reviewers and restaurant guide editors, the list is then voted on by Australia’s top chefs and restaurateurs.

So where does SA sit?

We’ve got 54 fantastic restaurants nominated in South Australia, including 9 which are new to the list; Bocca di Lupo (McLaren Vale), Bistro Blackwood, Lantern by Nu, Magill Estate Kitchen, Maxwell Restaurant (McLaren Vale), Pike & Joyce (Lenswood), Sunny’s Pizza, The d’Arenberg Cube (McLaren Vale) and The Pot by Emma McCaskill.
