Free pizza giveaway for every Aussie Olympic medal

Celebrate the Tokyo Olympics in style, with Pizza Hut offering the chance to get your hands on over a quarter of a million free pizzas in this epic giveaway!

Kicking off on the 23rd of July, Pizza Hut will release a jaw-dropping 285,000 free pizzas throughout the games, with five thousand pizzas dropping at 3:30pm ACST just in time for the opening ceremony.

As the Olympics continue, an additional thousand pizzas will be given away on a daily basis at 3:30pm ACST. Finishing on a high, the restaurant will release a final five thousand free pizzas to commemorate the success of Australian athletes and the closing ceremony at the same time.

Every time an Australian athlete gets a gong throughout the games, the multinational restaurant is also helping Aussies share in the success of the athletes by releasing free pizzas to the public the day after the win. Gold medals will be awarded one thousand free pizzas, silver five hundred and two hundred pizzas for every bronze won.

“We’re so passionate about celebrating Australian success and what better way to share some Aussie spirit than by holding an epic pizza giveaway to show our support and share the good times once more,” says Pizza Hut Australia’s CEO Phil Reed.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there, hidden amongst the thousands of free pizza vouchers will be an additional prize in the form of a single Willy Wonka style golden ticket up for grabs for one lucky winner.

The winner will get a whole year’s worth of free pizza – that’s right, one pizza per week for 52 weeks!
