Every time an Australian athlete gets a gong throughout the games, the multinational restaurant is also helping Aussies share in the success of the athletes by releasing free pizzas to the public the day after the win. Gold medals will be awarded one thousand free pizzas, silver five hundred and two hundred pizzas for every bronze won.

“We’re so passionate about celebrating Australian success and what better way to share some Aussie spirit than by holding an epic pizza giveaway to show our support and share the good times once more,” says Pizza Hut Australia’s CEO Phil Reed.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there, hidden amongst the thousands of free pizza vouchers will be an additional prize in the form of a single Willy Wonka style golden ticket up for grabs for one lucky winner.

The winner will get a whole year’s worth of free pizza – that’s right, one pizza per week for 52 weeks!
