Muddy Hands Festival | Sept 30
These spring school holidays, kids can get stuck into the mess at a free family-friendly mud play day, with mud pits, nature potions, seed bombs, cubby building, mud kitchens and plenty of hands-on activities. Running from 10am to 3pm on Wednesday, September 30th, the event will also feature children’s entertainment, educational stalls, food vendors and a sensory regulation area, with Nature Play SA helping families embrace the great outdoors.

Touch a Truck | Oct 1
Touch a Truck is returning to Mitchell Park this spring school holidays, giving kids the chance to climb aboard trucks, diggers and emergency vehicles, meet the people who keep the community running and get hands-on with the controls. Taking place on Thursday, October 1st, families are also encouraged to dress up in their best hi-vis, hard hats, capes or creative costumes for the chance to win some fun prizes.

Tradie Trail Fun | Oct 3
Little tradies can get hands-on these school holidays with a free Tradie Trail at Gepps X Home HQ on Saturday 3 October. Running from 10am to 1pm, kids can collect a map, follow the trail around the centre and enjoy free activities and giveaways along the way.

Growing For Gold | Until Oct 11
Growing for Gold is giving Adelaide kids the chance to try their hand at a huge range of sports these spring holidays, with free come-and-try sessions for children aged 4 to 16 across sporting clubs in Adelaide’s north. Running from September 26th to October 11th, the program covers everything from cricket and athletics to basketball, taekwondo and boxing, with no experience needed. Participants will also receive a certificate, while those who join a participating club can receive a voucher towards sporting gear, shoes or equipment.

Zoo Colours School Holidays
Adelaide Zoo is adding a splash of colour to the spring school holidays with Zoo Colours, a free self-guided activity for kids aged 4 to 14. Families can explore the zoo, hunt for colourful clues, uncover animal facts and crack a secret code for the chance to win a $100 Zoos SA retail voucher, alongside creative activities including a Colour Hunt and Chalk Colour Zone.

Art in the Park School Holidays
