Get ready for World Gin Day, a celebration dedicated to indulging in the finest clear spirit while admiring Adelaide’s top-notch bars.

While World Gin Day officially falls on June 14th, many are embracing the festivities over the long weekend, and we’re grateful for it!

Gin Fest at Glen Ewin Estate | June 6

Gin Fest 2026 is set to take over Glen Ewin Estate on Saturday, June 6th, bringing a full day of gin discovery, tastings and late-night celebration to the iconic Adelaide Hills venue. The annual event invites guests to meet the distillers behind some of South Australia’s most exciting spirits, with complimentary tastings and storytelling from labels including Pot & Still, Five Eleven Distilling, Frankly Gin, Heaps Good Spirits and Storytellers.

As the sun sets, the atmosphere shifts from relaxed tasting sessions to a high-energy evening of music, dancing and festival vibes, because, as organisers put it, no Gin Fest ends quietly.

World Gin Weekend at 23rd Street Distillery | June 6 – 8

World Gin Weekend is set to take over 23rd Street Distillery this June long weekend, with three days of celebrations. Visitors can expect free gin tastings across the weekend, curated gin cocktails, gin-inspired food specials and exclusive discounts. For those wanting a more hands-on experience, gin blending masterclasses will also be on offer for $75 per person, giving guests the chance to craft their own bespoke spirit.

Adelaide Gin & Spirits Festival | June 12 – 14

The Adelaide Gin & Spirits Festival is returning to the Adelaide Convention Centre for a three-day celebration of flavour, craft and festival energy. There will be 45 of Australia’s most talented gin distillers under one roof, and across four three-hour tasting sessions, guests will be able to sample an extensive range of spirits.

Flight Club at The Howling Owl | June 13

Flight Club is set to return for World Gin Day, with boarding from 3pm until late for an evening of good gin, global flavour and late-night DJ energy. Guests can look forward to a brand-new winter cocktail menu, a free-entry micro gin fair featuring local and interstate distillers, and the chance to sample and purchase bottles on the day, with part proceeds supporting charity.

A highlight of the event will be the ‘Round The World’ gin flights, priced at $25 per person, offering a guided tasting journey through four exceptional European gins, with all proceeds donated to the Mary Potter Foundation. There will also be happy hour from 5pm to 7pm with 2-for-1 gins and 2-for-$30 cocktails, plus DJs spinning late into the night.

Gin & Wildflower Soiree at Ginny Pig Distillery | June 13

This World Gin Day, Ginny Pig Distillery are hosting an enchanting evening immersed in creativity, nature, and flavour. The Gin & Wildflower Soiree will be guided by Tory Sandison, who will walk guests through the art of pressed floral and botanical design, where guests can create their own unique, nature-inspired artwork. Guests will, of course, be able to enjoy award-winning Botanic Gin throughout the workdshop.

World Gin Day at Prohibition Seppeltsfield Distillery | June 13

World Gin Day is set to be celebrated in true Barossa style this June, with Prohibition Liquor Co opening the doors of its newly reimagined Seppeltsfield Distillery for a one-day showcase of cocktails, tastings and more.

Running from 11am to 5pm, the World Gin Day celebration invites guests to explore Prohibition’s award-winning range through curated gin flights, $12 G&Ts and a rotating selection of cocktails, all served within the distillery’s atmospheric tasting rooms and expansive lawn areas.

World Gin Day at Prohibition Gilbert Streer | June 13

Prohibition’s flagship Gilbert Street Distillery is opening its doors for World Gin Day from 12pm to 6pm. Stop by for an afternoon of gin, cocktails and good company, with the bar pouring tastings, gin flights, signature Prohibition cocktails and plenty of G&Ts.

Out front, Uncle K & Co Food Truck will be serving up their signature Mediterranean street-food favourites, packed with flavour and perfect for a winter afternoon.

Looking for a hands-on gin experience? Book into their Cocktail Making Class at 2pm and learn how to shake, stir and sip your way through a selection of Prohibition favourites.
