If you’re a lover of retro arcades, pinball machines and good times then the Flipside Barcade is a must-add to your to-do list.
Located in Daw Park, the Flipside Bar-cade (as it’s been affectionately dubbed) is the perfect blend of nostalgia & good times with 15 pinball and arcade machines, American-style food & a range of craft beers on tap.
The Flipside Barcade comes from the brains of Joshua O’Shaughnessy from Nugg Lyf & Taco Cartel fame and Pinballers Pty Ltd founders, Nathan Walton & Cesar Federici, who saw an opportunity to team up to create Adelaide’s first venue dedicated to retro gaming.
“We have been operating Pinballers for 3 years and now have over 100 machines that we have been leasing out to a variety of craft breweries and venues, but we have always wanted to open a space for both the pinball community & people who want to have a unique experience out” explains Nathan.
“Our goal is to always have something happening at the Flipside, including pinball and arcade tournaments, quiz nights, lock-ins & functions offering for private events – including hosted events where we run comps and even provide trophies for you & your guests.”
