Adelaide will enjoy a sunny start to Sunday before showers and stronger winds move across the city during the afternoon and evening.
The temperature is forecast to climb from a minimum of 7 degrees to a relatively mild top of 17 degrees, making Sunday the warmest day of the weekend.
Those planning to head outside may want to make the most of the morning, when sunny conditions are expected across Adelaide.
Light winds will also strengthen during the day, becoming north to northwesterly at 15 to 25 kilometres per hour around the middle of the day. They will then turn west to northwesterly at 20 to 25 kilometres per hour during the early afternoon as the change arrives.
The unsettled conditions will linger into Monday, when Adelaide is forecast to reach a top of just 15 degrees after a much milder overnight minimum of 10 degrees.
The day will be cloudy with a medium chance of showers, most likely during the morning. Westerly winds of 15 to 20 kilometres per hour will turn southwesterly during the day before becoming light in the afternoon.
Tuesday is expected to be the coldest day of the forecast period, reaching a maximum of only 14 degrees after a minimum of 7 degrees. Cloud will hang over the city, although there is only a slight chance of a shower and an 80 per cent chance of no rain.
Conditions improve from the middle of the week. Wednesday will be partly cloudy with light winds and a top of 16 degrees, although Adelaide will wake to a chilly minimum of 6 degrees.
Thursday will be slightly warmer, reaching 18 degrees. There is a slight chance of a shower during the morning before a mostly sunny afternoon develops.
The temperature will climb further on Friday, with a minimum of 11 degrees and a top of 19 degrees expected. However, another wet change could arrive later in the day, bringing a high chance of showers and northerly winds of 15 to 20 kilometres per hour.
