If you’re craving a pick-me-up or need extra fuel to power through your workouts, have you considered tea? A colourful new drink bar specialising in loaded teas, protein smoothies and grab-and-go wellness options is preparing to open on Port Road.
Fueled Co will open their first permanent store following two successful pop-ups that helped co-owners Tahlia and Reece test Adelaide’s taste for tea. The idea for the business began after Tahlia, a massage therapist with an interest in health and wellbeing, experienced loaded tea herself and introduced them to her partner, Reece, a personal trainer.
“I made him try one, then every day after he was like, ‘I need a tea,’” Tahlia said.
With both founders passionate about fitness, they began developing Fueled Co around the idea of supporting busy people who want convenient drinks that suit an active lifestyle.
Fueled Co’s loaded teas are divided into energy, immunity and collagen categories, with each designed to support different health and wellness goals.
The energy tea combines energy sachets, green herbal tea, vitamins and electrolytes. The immunity range includes aloe vera and minerals, which Tahlia said have been selected with gut health and digestion in mind. Tahlia said the teas offer clean caffeine boosts without the crash commonly associated with other energy drinks.
While the teas cover plenty of bases, they do not contain protein, but don’t worry, Fueled Co will also offer a separate range of protein smoothies for customers looking for a more substantial post-workout or on-the-go option. While the Queenstown location will initially focus on teas and smoothies, but the pair hopes to expand the menu within the coming months.

The couple previously served drinks at a NCE Cheer & Dance showcase, where Watermelon Crush became the standout choice, before appearing at Para Hills United Soccer Club where the lolly-inspired Killer Python loaded tea was a clear favourite.
The new venue is also being designed as an upbeat and welcoming destination rather than simply somewhere to collect a drink.
“There will definitely be good vibes, and we’ll have the music pumping for sure,” Tahlia said.
Fueled Co’s grand opening will include goodie bags created in collaboration with other local businesses for the first 20 customers, featuring discount cards and other surprises. Visitors will also be able to spin a prize wheel, while every drink purchased on opening day will give them an entry into the draw to win a 30-pack loaded tea set to make at home.
Whether you’re chasing a post-workout boost or just something colourful to sip, Fueled Co is ready to bring the energy to Queenstown.
