Mary’s Poppin’s POPPIN OUT street party is returning this November for the ultimate shindig in Synagogue Place, with bigger and better plans for the event’s fourth edition, and a few top-secret surprises to be revealed closer to time. With a splash of glitter and a parade of stilettos, this year is set to showcase the very best and boldest of queer culture, with multiple dance floors and world-class DJs getting the party going from sundown and all the way into the night.

With a riot of glitz and glamour and some seriously enviable make-up artistry, you can expect some truly fabulous and iconic drag, plenty of Insta-worthy photos, and a bank of memories you’ll be carrying with you until well after you’ve hung up your heels and crawled into bed at dawn. This year, things are set to get a little bit bigger, a little bit louder, and a heck of a lot more entertaining as Mary’s cranks up the dial on the celebrations switch.

The biggest and gayest event of the season is hitting Adelaide’s streets this summer for a Saturday night you won’t forget, complete with a wild list of drinks and some top-tier live entertainment, so here’s your cue to save the date – November 7!

The event is set to throw some razzle dazzle onto Synagogue Place as Mary’s celebrates a full decade of operation as one of Adelaide’s chief venues for celebrating glamour, high energy and queer joy.

“Ten years of Mary’s is incredibly emotional, because when I opened the venue, I wanted to create my own dream queer bar, somewhere people could walk into and instantly feel like they belonged. What’s happened since then is bigger than I ever could have imagined,” owner and founder Stephen Craddock previously told Glam Adelaide.

“Mary’s has become part of people’s lives, their friendships, their wild nights, their milestones and their memories. To still be here a decade later, still full of life and still full of love, means everything to me. I still absolutely love this place. Mary’s has gone from strength to strength because the community made it theirs.”
