FIRST LOOK: Cutting-edge early learning centre opens in Campbelltown with unique new feature

Emali Early Learning Centre has officially opened its ninth location bringing popular childcare, early learning and preschool programs to the eastern suburbs.

South Australian-owned and operated Emali Early Learning Centre has officially opened its ninth location in Campbelltown, bringing its extensive childcare, early learning and preschool programs to the eastern suburbs. Designed with community input, the new centre aims to create ‘a world of imagination’ for little ones to learn, grow and thrive.

“[The] newest centre was designed based on input from families and educators within our community. Indoor and outdoor spaces will accommodate a child-led, play-based learning environment,” the organisation shared.

High, tapered ceilings allow natural light to pour into the indoors, and the design incorporates multi-use undercover outdoor areas allowing for year-round play across the seasons.

In collaboration with occupational therapists from Motivate Kids, the Campbelltown location will feature a dedicated sensory space for children to fully immerse themselves in additional learning experiences.

“The sensory room and equipment provide focused support for the physical and emotional development of children as they learn to regulate their emotions and improve specific physical capabilities.”

This unique addition is one of only two across the state alongside Emali’s Salisbury location and serves as an example of the organisation’s dedication to children’s care. The convenient Campbelltown location will allow greater accessibility for kids to experience the specialised facilities.

For 18 years, Emali has been a trusted name in early childhood education, committed to creating a supportive and stimulating environment for children through play-based learning and community engagement. It currently has centres based in Brighton, Broadview, Campbelltown, Findon, Littlehampton, Morphett Vale, Prospect, Salisbury & Underdale, and a new addition underway in North Plympton.

Enrolment covers all services currently provided by Emali including nutritious and culturally inclusive meals using seasonal produce and ingredients plus all extra-curricular programs.

The programs develop fine and gross motor skills, a sense of self-awareness, language and communication skills through listening and singing to music, sensory development, and spatial awareness to support cognitive and physical development in a child’s fundamental, formative years.

“These programs will set [children] up with strong foundations to be able to continue to learn as best as possible throughout the rest of their lives and will be very helpful as the child goes to school and learns how to read, write, build peer relationships and more,” shared the organisation.

Emali understands the weight of life’s demands can limit a child’s opportunity to explore different activities, which is why they have included all extracurricular programs in enrolment.

“Families are increasingly busy, so having these extra-curricular programs as a regular extension of the learning curriculum offers children the opportunity to have a go at all things,” they shared.

The seasonal and culturally inclusive meals are prepared in-house and cater to all dietary requirements, ensuring children have substantial and nutritious meals that support their growth and development.

This is honoured through working with local suppliers including Riviera Bakery, where they order custom, dietary-friendly bread baked fresh, as well as Tony & Marks for fresh produce and many others.

Children learn about food and nutrition and build the skills necessary to prepare meals, serve themselves and clean up after, developing their independence.

Families are invited to visit all Emali Early Learning Centres by booking a centre tour. Now is the best time to be enquiring about enrolments and, for families not ready to start care, Emali suggests joining the waitlist to secure your child’s spot.
