Fashion brand Glassons is set to open its second South Australian store in Rundle Mall later this year. Following the successful launch of its debut store in Westfield Marion in September 2021, Glassons is expanding its footprint and bringing its affordable luxury fashion to Rundle Mall.

The new Glassons store will occupy the former Typo location, strategically positioned across from the Myer Centre.

Glassons, a brand with roots in New Zealand and Australia, has gained popularity for its trendy and budget-friendly clothing collections.

With an extensive presence, the fashion hub operates over 130 stores, including 36 stores in Australia. It’s worth noting that Glassons is the sister company to Hallenstein Brothers, an iconic menswear retailer established in 1873.

Just this year (for six months until February 1st 2023) Glassons sales in Australia were $102.89 million over a six-month period. In fact, the net profit after tax for the whole company was $20.83 million (unaudited), an increase of 74.8% over the corresponding period last year ($11.91 million).

What sets Glassons apart is its ability to consistently stay ahead of fashion trends. Whether it’s oversized knits to keep you cozy during the winter months or the perfect pair of straight-cut jeans to complete your look, Glassons has a wide array of options that cater to fashion enthusiasts of all tastes.

Glassons brand has a strong fan base not only in Australia but also among stylish personalities, including Nadia Fairfax-Wayne, Jade Brycki, Molly King, Brooke Upton from South Australia, and many more.

Some of its products have also gone viral on social media. Thousands of shoppers flooded Glasson’s website causing it to crash and stripped supplies of its blue $39.99 lace garter corset top in just a few hours after a TikTok influencer who goes by SophaDopha promoted the much-hyped corset top.

While Glassons is already in SA, its arrival to the CBD will be loved by fashionistas living in the North and East of Adelaide.
