Food South Australia will be an exciting new unified voice delivering programs and results for South Australia’s dynamic food industry.
Food SA reflects the amalgamation of two long running associations – Food Adelaide and Flavour SA – with members agreeing to unite and provide central delivery to industry of key services.
Stephan Knoll, current Chair of Flavour SA welcomes the formation of Food SA.
“The role of Food SA will be to provide leadership to the food industry and be recognised as the peak body in the State”, said Stephan.
“Together with the strength of one association Food SA will be helping facilitate the growth of industry, increase exports, create employment and match international buyers with South Australian manufacturers.”
Chair of Food Adelaide, Brian Leckie also commends the establishment of Food SA and sees it as a positive step forward for the future of the food industry.
“Working together as one will allow us to deliver outstanding results for members and the food industry as well as better foster communication and links both with and for industry,” said Brian.
“There are many exciting initiatives and intended outcomes for the food industry through Food SA. Our strategic plan is already well under development with plans for growing our membership and becoming self sustainable.”
