It presents an exceptional dining experience located on level nine of the new Sofitel Adelaide. Garçon Bleu is led by a talented culinary team displaying their haute cuisine skills and a love for fresh local produce.

Chef de Cuisine Gianni Delogu – of Vue de monde and Grossi Florentino – has created a seasonal menu that makes French cuisine more accessible and fun, delivering dishes that are modern in creation.

The menu features simple, uncomplicated and ingredient-focused dishes that highlight flavour and local products such as saltbush and Adelaide Hills pork.

Highlights include Chicken liver parfait with house-made brioche rolls and locally foraged saltbush; Endive with Roquefort cheese, raisins, croutons and candied walnuts; and House-cured salmon fumé with Yarra Valley salmon roe and avocado.

Diners can look forward to SA barramundi with fennel puree with beurre noisette, baby capers and Goolwa Pipis; Adelaide Hills ‘Buzz Honey’ glazed duck breast with duck leg bon-bon, apricot and carrot puree; as well as Paringa Farm lamb rump with smoky peas, preserved lemon and charred onions.

The dessert menu will be sure to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings with Paris-Brest with Adelaide Hills peaches, Woodside goat’s yoghurt cremeux and caramelised milk; and Spiced poached pear, sablé Breton and burnt cinnamon.

The wine list at Garçon Bleu reflects relationships in the connection with food pairings, and most importantly, a sense of place.

It offers a broad selection of French wines influenced by its heritage, with an excellent Australian offering, showcasing both French and SA wines by the glass as well as Champagnes and French and Australian dessert wines.

With spaces suited for both small and large groups, Garçon Bleu seats up to 90 diners to enjoy the culinary delight.

The contemporary space is designed by P49DEESIGN where the scene is set upon arrival. Guests are welcomed at the entrance with Garçon Bleu insignia in the inlaid flooring and a team dressed in bespoke uniforms by Paolo Sebastian.

Monochrome mosaic tiles lead to the dining room, which boasts an open kitchen, an extensive wine wall, and an up-lit oyster and raw seafood bar.

Expansive windows flood the dining room with natural light and offer elevated city views.

Stunning patterned timber parquetry lines the floor and a mirrored ceiling and glistening gold surfaces deliver refinement and luxury.

A selection of purposefully eclectic artworks feature throughout the space, from photography to rudimentary line drawings, serving as a point of interest and stimulating free flowing conversation.

French-born Dominique Lock and Mathilde Tytgat bring together Garçon Bleu as the place in Adelaide to see and be seen, to celebrate, gather, and to share good food and wine.

Garçon Bleu is located on level 9 of Sofitel Adelaide at 108 Currie St, Adelaide.
