Rundle Mall Management Authority (RMMA) Chairperson, Peter Joy, said 2KW Bar and Restaurant will present the 2018 Cellar Door, where visitors can have tastings and get up close and personal with a variety of premium South Australian wine and beer makers.

“We are bringing back last year’s successful Urban Pantry to once again showcase the best of our State’s regional food and beverage producers, at a time when tourists and some of the world’s best food and wine connoisseurs converge here in Adelaide,” he said.

“The Urban Pantry will allow visitors to browse and sample flavours from top producers and outstanding artisans. The mall attracts more than 400,000 visitors and tourists each week, making it the perfect platform to showcase some of our State’s produce and entice even more people to the precinct.

“I encourage you to visit Rundle Mall during Tasting Australia, to stop and sample some of the free produce, while shopping or on your lunch break. You could even make a family day out of it and experience the I Choose SA Grazing Trail.”

Mr Joy said the I Choose SA Grazing Trail provides a unique opportunity to pick up key products and flavours from the food festival on a self-guided trail, featuring locally owned businesses employing local people.

Rundle Mall visitors can take the trail by following a map at their own convenience to 10 different locations where they will receive tastings, free samples and special offers. I Choose SA Grazing Trail tote bags and maps can be collected for free from the Urban Pantry – there is limited supply so make sure you are there early so you don’t miss out!

The Urban Pantry and Cellar Door will be open from April 13-22. Open daily at the Gawler Place Canopy: Monday-Thursday:10am-6pm, Friday: 10am-8pm, Saturday: 10am-5pm and Sunday: 11am-5pm.
