After selling out shows across Australia and New Zealand on his debut visit, one of pop music’s fastest-rising stars is heading back Down Under – and Adelaide will be the first city on the tour.
SOMBR has announced his return to Australia and New Zealand as part of his You Are The Reason Tour, with the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter set to take over the Adelaide Entertainment Centre Arena on Tuesday, April 13, 2027.
The Adelaide concert will kick off the Australian leg before SOMBR heads to Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney, followed by a final show in Auckland.
It marks a rapid return for the New York-born artist, who made his Australian and New Zealand debut in December 2025, selling out dates across the region and appearing at Spilt Milk Festival.
Since then, SOMBR’s profile has continued to soar.
The singer-songwriter broke through globally with back to friends, which climbed into the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 and became a major hit in Australia, while tracks including undressed and 12 to 12 further cemented his arrival on the international pop scene.
His debut album, I Barely Know Her, was co-produced with Tony Berg, whose credits include Phoebe Bridgers and The Replacements, and helped earn SOMBR a Best New Artist Grammy nomination.
He has also taken his live show to some of the world’s biggest festival stages, including Coachella, Sziget and Lollapalooza, while his headline tours have sold out shows across North America, the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Now the scale is getting considerably bigger, with SOMBR moving into arenas for his 2027 Australian return.
Adelaide fans will be the first in the country to see the You Are The Reason Tour when it lands at the AEC Arena in April.
The show is licensed all ages, although patrons under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and the event is recommended for those aged 16 and over.
Frontier Members will have access to a 25-hour presale from 10am local time on Monday, September 7, while general tickets go on sale at 12pm local time on Tuesday, September 8. An artist presale will also begin from 10am on Thursday, September 3.
Tickets range from $89.90 for C Reserve seating to $179.90 for general admission standing and A Reserve seating, with VIP packages also available.
