As OzAsia gears up for its annual run in Adelaide, the state’s favourite entertainment and food hub, the Lucky Dumpling Market, is set to return to Elder Park, bringing with it its vibrant atmosphere and a chance for South Australians to indulge their senses.

Making its return this October, the Lucky Dumpling Market is bringing with it the enticing sounds, smells and flavours that’ll transport you to the bustling street markets of Asia. The highly-anticipated festival will run from October 21 until November 7, giving Adelaideans a place to relax on balmy spring nights.

Serving a delicious variety of BBQ, stir fries, noodles, bao buns and of course mouth-watering dumplings, Lucky Dumpling Market is the perfect place for a meal and a drink between OzAsia performances with family and friends.

Taste the flavours of Asia with some of Adelaide’s most delicious food vendors cooking up authentic cuisine, spectacular desserts, bubble tea, and Japanese sake with premium South Australian wines and beer. Chow down on the likes of GANG GANG and Fire by Soi 38, while enjoying an ever-popular bubble tea from Bubble Bus.

Enjoy nights of free entertainment along the riverbank, with the markets hosting free live music each Thursday to Sunday evening with Lucky Beats, showcasing local and interstate artists like Kuya James and Yeo across the festival period.

Since its conception in 2017, the dumpling-centric market coincides with OzAsia Festival, Australia’s leading international arts festival engaging with Asia. This year’s festival will present an array of new programs, like In Other Words – a writing and ideas program that intertwines the stories of some of Australia and Asia’s most prominent writers.

Brought to you by the brains behind Adelaide Fringe Venue Gluttony, the market will open Tuesday to Friday from 4:30pm until late, and from midday over the weekend.

The Lucky Dumpling Market will run from October 21 – November 7 at Elder Park along the River Torrens. The market is closed Mondays.
