Callum Hann, one of SA’s most loved Masterchef constants and current Masterchef Allstar, is taking on Willunga Farmers Market (WFM).
On Saturday 25 August 2012 at 10am, Callum will take over the kitchen for a cooking demonstration using seasonal produce bought fresh from the market that morning.
‘Fresh, seasonal produce makes a huge difference when cooking. The flavour is amazing and it’s such a joy to work with,’ Callum says.
Demystifying cooking with fresh produce, Callum’s demonstration will show WFM customers how to get the best from their shop.
‘Cooking is fun, it doesn’t have to be a chore.’ he enthuses.
Billy Doecke, WFM Assistant Market Manager says that education is the key.
‘Cooking with fresh produce doesn’t need to be scary, you just need to know the basics.’
She says. Callum’s new book ‘The Starter Kitchen’, will also be available for sale and signing before and after his cooking demonstration.
‘We are really excited to have Callum join us. It’s like having Masterchef in our very own backyard!’ says Billy.
