Melbourne food giant Chin Chin comes to SA for Tasting Australia

The Melbourne food institution are teaming up with Yalumba for an afternoon of wine and dining in the stunning Barossa Valley

Chin Chin are back in South Australia in a big way!

As part of Tasting Australia, Melbourne food lords Chin Chin are bringing their delicious Asian creations back over the border.

Teaming up with our very own Yalumba winery, you’re invited to spend an Autumn afternoon in the Barossa eating, drinking and of course being merry at the

“Chin Chin x Yalumba GoGo Lawns”.

Starting from 3pm, you’ll spend the afternoon snacking on some of Chin Chin’s most popular menu items (think crab sandwiches, butter chicken pie and chilli salted chicken wings) while sipping on a curated selection of Yalumba wines or brewed beers. And don’t worry, there will also be plenty of just as delicious vegan and vegetarian options.

Of course, there’ll be live entertainment and plenty of room for you to spread your picnic rug and settle in for the evening. But there’s no rush, you’re free to arrive at your leisure and spend as long or as little as you’d like. A shuttle bus service will be running to and from both Angaston and Nuriootpa throughout the day.

With lines to get in from Day 1, Chin Chin have often been hailed as one of Melbourne’s most successful restaurants and in 2016 they revamped their underground holding space into an edgy, underground cocktail bar and eatery dubbed GoGo.

Chin Chin have blessed us with their delicacies many times before, this will be GoGo’s first time in the state and by teaming up with a local icon in Yalumba, they’re sure to make their own mark in a big way.

The event is ticketed with your ticket will include four food delectable food items along with a glass of your favourite Yalumba drop. You’ll also get to take home a Ridel wine glass as a memento.

Tickets are expected to fly out the door with the Chin Chin dinner sessions at Yalumba selling out faster than you can say roasted pork bahn mi so make sure you get in quick!
