Adelaide is about to get a taste of one of Melbourne’s most talked-about coffee creations, with Good Measure bringing its famous Mont Blanc to Honeydripper for a one-day-only pop-up this October.
The Carlton venue is heading north for the special collaboration on Sunday, October 4th, taking over Honeydripper on Frome Street from morning through to night.
And while coffee is the main attraction when the sun is up, the collaboration will take a very different direction once evening rolls around.
From 8am to midday, Good Measure will serve its original Mont Blanc coffee, the drink that helped spark the cream-topped coffee craze, alongside a Mandarin cold brew and strawberry-peach iced tea.
The Mont Blanc has become something of a signature for Good Measure, combining coffee with a sweet, creamy topping and distinctive orange and nutmeg flavours.
Then, from 6pm, Honeydripper’s upstairs listening lounge will transform for an evening drinks collaboration, with Good Measure taking over the room for table service and an exclusive four-cocktail menu. Downstairs, Honeydripper will offer a mirror menu of its own cocktails, creating two different experiences across the venue.
Both menus will feature a martini, a Negroni, and two signature cocktails created especially for the collaboration, with Never Never Distilling Co. vodka featured throughout the drinks.
One of the standout creations will be a Macadamia Vodka Mont Blanc, taking inspiration from Good Measure’s famous morning drink and giving it a distinctly Never Never spin.
The collaboration marks one year since Never Never’s vodka launched, bringing the South Australian distillery into the mix alongside the Melbourne drinks team and one of Adelaide’s best-known hi-fi venues.
Good Measure’s Max Allison-Brock shared, “Honeydripper is an all-day venue with a music focus – so I felt an immediate connection there. It just made sense to team up with them when deciding who could help us bring our drinks program to Adelaide.”
Honeydripper co-owner Raf Thomson added, “We’re super excited to be hosting the crew that invented the Mont Blanc. These guys approach their morning drinks with the same care and consideration we give our cocktail menu – it’s a great opportunity to show people how fun and thought out a morning, cafe driven drinks list can be. It’s going to be a great day-turns-night event with some of the best in the business.”
The evening will also feature casual Italian food from Pinco Italo, and a greenhouse activation across the venue, filling the space with greenery throughout the weekend.
For Never Never, the collaboration also brings the brand back to its South Australian roots.
Founded by Adelaide mates George, Sean and Tim, the distillery began in a tiny 16-square-metre shed without running water before growing into one of the state’s prominent spirits producers. The trio built the business around a shared obsession with flavour, craft and Australian ingredients, eventually joining the Asahi Beverages family in 2024.
There are no tickets or bookings required for the pop-up, with guests able to drop into Honeydripper throughout the day.
