West Lakes’s Footy Park Precinct has reached another major milestone with the launch of a brand-new all-weather beer garden at the Mosaic Hotel, adding a relaxed, contemporary social hub to Adelaide’s new western sporting district.
The new space combines modern architecture with a coastal-inspired aesthetic, designed as a flexible year-round venue for casual dining, family gatherings and live sports viewing, all within the reimagined former Football Park site.
The precinct has continued to gather momentum since opening, with SANFL highlighting the beer garden as a key part of its long-term vision for the site.

“The vision for the Footy Park Precinct has always been to create a place where people can come together to meet, eat and play and perhaps reminisce about the iconic moments that took place on that ground,” said SANFL CEO Darren Chandler.
“This new beer garden is another great addition – a flexible, year-round space designed for everything from casual family meals to watching live sport on the big screen.”
The precinct has been designed with elite sport and community use in mind. “We really hope that families who travel to SANFL’s High Performance Centre can enjoy a meal in the beer garden while their kids are training on the oval or even practice their swing on the X-Golf simulators.
“The goal all along for this precinct is to be the premier entertainment and sporting destination in Adelaide’s west and we hope the local community get the most out of these facilities as well,” said Darren.

To celebrate the opening, the Mosaic Hotel has released a refreshed calendar of weekly and monthly offerings, including Sunday Sessions with live music, $20 schnitzel nights on Wednesdays, $20 pizzas, and all-day weekend dining. AFL match days will also feature Siren-to-Siren Happy Hour, alongside daily afternoon drink specials.
Mosaic Hotel General Manager Jeff Dickson said, “We’re really proud with how this beer garden compliments the existing bar and our relaxed and casual atmosphere.
“The award-winning team at Studio 9 have designed a space that shifts seamlessly with the seasons. In the cooler months there’s a Vergola roof and heaters to keep things cosy while the footy is on. The menu has casual comfort in mind – think classic pub favourites, pizza, salads and share plate offerings for relaxed group dining.”

Owned by SANFL, the Footy Park Precinct now includes the Mosaic Hotel and beer garden, premium function spaces within the High Performance Centre, X-Golf simulators and Hey Caddy mini golf, further cementing its position as a growing entertainment destination for Adelaide’s west.
The new beer garden is now open just in time for the long weekend.
