Westfield reveals huge line-up of school holiday fun with sushi-making, teen passes and free kids’ activities in Adelaide

Adelaide’s Westfield centres have the school holiday fun covered with sushi workshops, movies and exclusive passes.

Looking for ways to keep the kids entertained these winter school holidays? Westfield centres across Adelaide are hosting a packed line-up of free activities, movie sessions, family-friendly food options, entertainment and more.

Here’s what’s happening at Westfield West Lakes, Westfield Marion and Westfield Tea Tree Plaza.

Westfield West Lakes

Free Toy Story 5 School Holiday Activity Station

The Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 school holiday activity station brings the imaginative world of Woody, Buzz and the gang to life, with hands-on activities including plaster painting, cookie decorating and Forky craft.

Dates: Monday 6 July to Friday 10 July
Time: 10am to 1pm
Where: Centre Court, near The Coffee Club

Little Dreamers Kids Club

Westfield West Lakes’ Little Dreamers Kids Mornings are free, fun and educational sessions designed for toddlers and preschoolers.

When: Every Tuesday and Friday, 10am to 12pm
Where: Little Dreamers Space, opposite Dangerfield, Near Target

Free kids badge making with SAPOL

Kids can create their own free badge while meeting local police officers in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Families can also explore the Crime Awareness Display to learn valuable safety and crime prevention tips. Parents are invited to enjoy Coffee with a Cop, offering a chance to ask questions, share concerns and get to know local officers.

Westfield Marion

Free Toy Story 5 School Holiday Activity Station

The Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 activity station brings the imaginative world of Woody, Buzz and the gang to life with hands-on fun, including customising your own pencil case or tote bag with iron-on character patches and Forky craft.

Football For Fans

From Friday 12 June to Monday 20 July, Westfield Marion will be streaming the FIFA World Cup 2026™, in partnership with SBS, live and free from North America.

To celebrate, Westfield Marion will also host exclusive football-themed events and giveaways.

Kids and Teen Pass

Westfield Marion’s Kids Pass and Teen Pass are designed to help families make the most of the school holidays for less, bundling together entertainment options at a discounted rate.

Passes are available to purchase from the concierge desks on levels 1 and 2.

Movies at Event Cinemas

Families can catch the latest kids’ movie releases at Event Cinemas. It’s an easy school holiday win, with popcorn for the kids and a little downtime for parents.

Movies at HOYTS

Families can catch the latest kids’ movie releases at HOYTS. It’s a simple school holiday activity that keeps everyone entertained.

Timezone and Zone Bowling

Kids can enjoy games, activities and plenty of school holiday fun at Timezone and Zone Bowling. It’s a great spot to bring out the friendly competitive side to the family.

For the younger kiddies, there’s also a playground on Level 1, located near Caffe Primo to burn off extra energy.

Sushi Hub kids sushi workshop

Sushi Hub is running kids’ masterclasses during select times these school holidays. During the sessions, kids can learn the secrets behind making sushi in a fun and hands-on workshop.

Kids will enjoy a memorable experience that blends creativity, education, and tasty results. Plus, they’ll get to enjoy their handmade sushi at the end, the best reward of all!
