It might be a little while before music festivals return but in the meantime, we’ve got a Rocky Road Festival to sink our teeth into.
The Yarra Valley Chocoláterie has transformed traditional Rocky Road and is releasing 31 different and daring flavours to order for the entirety of May, available to be shipped all around Australia.
Those who are keen to try their hand at making Rocky Road can’t go wrong with the ‘Rocky Road Festival at Home Tasting Kit’.
The box includes 12 rocky road sample bites, and ingredients to make your own rocky road, plus road truffle, a handcrafted rocky road brownie berry explosion ball, and a rocky road hot chocolate whisk to create a unique drink.
For the indecisive types, don’t panic. You can get all 31 flavours in the ‘Rocky Road Festival Box’.
Of course, there’s your classic white, dark and milk blocks but for those feeling adventurous, there are types like Golden Gaytime featuring housemade Golden Gaytime biscuits and Lemonade Fizz with yellow jellies and popping candy.
As well as the standard white chocolate, milk chocolate, and dark chocolate base, there’s also varieties in mixed chocolate, white, ruby and caramelised white, as well as a block catering to vegans which includes goji berries, cocao nibs, and vegan marshmallows.
Keep an eye out on the Facebook page as well because from May 1, some of the chocolatiers will be hosting regular Facebook live sessions to talk all things rocky road.
