Amigos and amigas – we have big news! Adelaide’s favourite vegan Mexican eatery, Cocina Comida, is bringing back bottomless sessions, and we know this is going to be a huge hit.
The colourful and unconventional Mexican joint is offering all you can eat tacos, as well as bottomless margaritas and sangria. We knew heaven was a place on Earth…
Kicking off on the last Saturday of every month, an exclusive taco menu will be made just for you, accompanied with lime or mango margaritas, or their super popular sangria.
Snack on some complimentary chips and guac as you make your way through the menu, all the while washing it back with free flowing booze! Cocina Comida will no doubt be the perfect destination for your next group hangout.
Cocina Comida relocated from Pirie Street to Ebenezer Place earlier this year, bringing tasty tacos and mouth-watering Mexican to the East End precinct.
While reflecting traditional recipes after travelling Mexico and Guatemala, owner Reuben Williamson mixes in a little bit of unconventionality.
“I didn’t know the language very well, so while I was learning, we communicated through food,” Reuben told us in February. “I learned a lot of traditional flavours, recipes and methods out there, including how to make a great tamale.”
When asked what Cocina Comida meant, Reuben laughed. “The name was a bit of a joke. It literally means ‘cooked food’. To the gringos that don’t know Spanish, it sounds cool. My Spanish friends get a good kick out of it.”
